Lua Nova began as a beautiful bohemian journey, weaving three collections of hippie inspired slow fashion clothing that celebrated freedom and spirit.

After a short season of trading beautiful textiles, I’ve returned to my roots as a visual artist.

I am Cass, I am a self taught mixed media artist, Brazilian born and shaped in the UK.

I create art that bridges the physical and the unseen. My formal journey began in Fashion Design long time ago, I quickly learnt that the relentless pace of Fashion industry blocked my creative spirit and wasn't for me. I chose instead to protect my art, keeping it as a private sanctuary where I could experiment without pressure.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of ceramics, sculptures and paintings experimenting with a variety of mediums. I am fascinated by the tactile merging physical forms onto canvas to create textures, intriguing pieces sometimes. Deeply influenced by my eclectic spiritual path, my art serves as a vessel for storytelling, weaving together my personal experiences with the mysteries of the unseen. Every piece I create, journal pages or in a canvas is a narrative, a fragment of my own story, an exploration of the spiritual beings that guide me.

My paintings would make a great addition to your sacred spaces or altar. If you are looking for something deeply personal, I also accept commissions for pet portraits (dogs, cats, or horses).
