Bubbles of Cacao (original painting)

Original Charcoal Painting.

Inspired by the Goddess of Cacao, this charcoal piece explores a journey of healing that began in my native Brazil. I first sought the medicine of Cacao years ago during a time of immense personal struggle. Through a shamanic retreat, I opened myself to her spirit, expecting the presence of an ancient matriarch. To my surprise, I was greeted by a figure who was youthful, smiling, and profoundly wise.

​This is how Mama Cacao has revealed herself to me ever since, transcending borders and origins. This work is a tribute to my queridita Mamacita, a quiet thank you for her guidance and for the gentle path she illuminated toward my own inner world.
